Echoes through Time" (ETT) is
involved in a variety of educational studies; demonstrating and interpreting
periods in our American military history. At our current main location we
specialize in the War between the States, better known as our American Civil
War era.We provide a wide variety of educational /
historical programs, covering most any subject / topic of the antebellum
years. We also have available a number of local / regional tours, and
provide a battlefield tour guide service.
We like to think of our personal services as truly unique
teaching tools for guests, visitors and educators. We especially aide the
educators who use our Learning Center, providing that special visual aide or
tool to help their students learn and understand topics of interest. As for
the various organizations, churches, tour groups and the general public who
visit us, we do our very best to help them understand the history, concepts
and facts to appreciate what our American military have experienced and
accomplished through the years in our nations proud history.
ETT brings to life, those text book tactics that you only
read about… and for those items on display to life. Most every item in our
exhibit has a story to tell. Our variety of weapons, equipment and uniforms
that are on exhibit will help our visitors understand the time period
better, and explain many of the hardships the soldiers of both sides faced,
with the technology that was used in the period of history.
If you are a educator, our goal is to assist you, in
helping your students to understand the Civil War era.
For most of our other visitor & guest, you will experience
history in a way it is seldom experienced; in a museum or classroom setting.
We try to give our visitors & guest all our personal
attention. As we talk about our exhibit, showing how the displayed equipment
and weapons that were actually used – and not how it is often seen/
portrayed on TV or in Hollywood movies. Having the resources available to
actually: feel, touch or hold – many of which are original items, or
reproduction items – which we use to help make history come alive!
